The Cube Carving Template allows you to create very interesting 3-dimensional images in 10 seconds or less.  This post includes the downloadable template and explains how to use it.  I also recommend viewing Color the Cube Connectors to learn about some very interesting ways to use the shapes you create.

    Hi Steve,

    Love your resources, thank you.
    I downloaded your Cube Carving Template Powerpoint, however when I open it and try to modify the image, it doesn’t allow me to do it as easily as you do it in your video. Is there a particular screen I need to be on or editing mode that I don’t know about?

    Thanks for your help.

      Hi Tim,
      When you want to edit it, be sure that you click on a cube just one time (so it selects the entire group), rather than clicking on a cube twice. If you click twice it will select the group (with the first click) and then an individual cube (with the second click). When you click the first time, it will outline the entire group, so you what has been selected will be much wider than the cube you just clicked on, but you will see it if you look on the edges of the slide. After one click, then just press delete and the entire set will disappear. Let me know how it works! All my best, Steve
