Leaping Numbers – Leap Day Pattern Challenge Series

Leaping Numbers

Leap Day is coming on February 29.  I’m celebrating by posting some LEAPING Number Pattern Challenges.  The numbers leap and create a pattern for you to solve.

But, wait – there’s more!

The answer to each of the 29 patterns is shown at the end – and creates another pattern of it’s own.  If you watch the videos, solve the patterns, and think ahead – you might be able to solve the main pattern before it is revealed on Leap Day!

Note:  I’ll post 2 new videos each weekday from now through February 29.  There are 29 videos in all.  Watch them all and see if you can find the answer to the main pattern before it is posted on Leap Day.  Enjoy Leaping Numbers!  All the videos are posted here and on My YouTube Channel.

Note: There currently is a Newer Season of Leaping Numbers available now – so the videos from this earlier season are currently disabled to prevent confusion between the seasons.

From 2nd/3rd grade Kelly Elementary school in Grand Teton National Park: You are awesome and we loved this challenge (but it was hard!). We made one mistake, we learned to double check our math work! Thanks!

Hi, Tracy. I don’t think there is a way to download them. Can you play them directly out of my blog here: https://stevewyborney.com/2024/02/leaping-numbers-leap-day-pattern-challenge-series/
